MMA Ward — Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your MMA Ward account and what happens to your data. It is provided to meet the Google Play requirement that apps with accounts offer an easy way to request account and data deletion. It should be published at https://mmaward.app/delete-account.

Option 1 — Delete instantly inside the app (recommended)

1. Open MMA Ward.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Settings (gear icon).
4. Tap Account → Delete Account.
5. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

No waiting, no email needed. This is the fastest and complete way to delete everything.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app (for example, you're locked out), email abubaker6192@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". Include your username so we can find your account.

We will verify your identity and complete the deletion, generally within 30 days and usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted:

• Erased: your profile, username, display name, avatar, email link, country, Fight IQ and coins, streaks, career stage, notification settings, posts, comments, votes, GOAT picks, Hot Take activity, fight predictions, trivia answers, Ward memberships, reports, blocks, and your "Near Me" location cell.
• De-identified (not deleted): records that also belong to another user — for example, a completed duel that appears in your opponent's history. We remove your username and profile from these so they no longer identify you, but the shared record itself remains for the other user.
• Sign-in unlinked: if you used Google or Apple sign-in, that sign-in is unlinked so you (or anyone) can create a brand-new account with it later. No old data is restored.
• Anonymised statistics kept: aggregate stats that no longer identify you (for example, "62% of players answered this question correctly") may be retained.
• Backups: copies in our encrypted backups are overwritten on our normal backup rotation, generally within 30 days.

What this means

• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
• You will lose your Fight IQ, rank, streak, and all progress. These are virtual and have no cash value, so nothing of monetary value is lost.
• If you have (in the future) an active paid subscription, deleting your MMA Ward account does not automatically cancel billing through Google Play or Apple — cancel the subscription separately in your Google Play or Apple account settings.
